WELCOME TO FRENCH HILL FARMS!

Located in St. Albans, home of the Vermont famous Maple Festival, French Hill Farms is a state of the art maple sugaring operation.  The operation is owned by Tom Hungerford & family, and the smoke stack can be seen churning every spring.  It is located just off route 105, about 2 miles up French Hill Road on the right.  Work on the sugaring farm occurs year round, adding more taps and improving the grove.  We are also proud to be a part of the Vermont Maple Festival sugarhouse tours, and also offer free tours and samples in March and April.  Contact Tom Hungerford at 524-9100 or 309-0499 for more information, maple products, and pure Vermont maple syrup orders!

Opening Sugaring Weekends!

The first boil of the season was on Friday, February 28th.  After a week of cold weather, boiling resumed on the weekend of March 7th and 8th.  We had many visitors over the weekend, as you can see in the pictures taken by Barb.  There was also great food made by Barb and Donna, including Fruit Pizza and Rustic Maple Raisin Pie!  Stay tuned for more sugaring news.
